Literature is no longer bound by the confines of heavy, hardcover books. Books can be read on computers, smartphones, tablets and now, for the first time ever, on your own legs!
…wait, what?
Okay, so maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration. Books cannot be magically projected onto your legs for um, easy (?) reading, but you can now find your favorite literary quotes on ultra-fashionable stockings courtesy of TightsShop. Two things I love coming together: literature and warm, colorful tights! The makers of the tights are an Israeli married couple; a photographer and a graphic designer who started their DIY empire by first printing their designs on baby clothes and eventually evolving into printing on tights.

I think I know what I’m buying for myself as an early Christmas gift. What makes these stockings even more awesome are that they are available from sizes S – XL and are fully customizable—you can choose any color you like for whichever pair you choose. And, as you can see, their color options are to die for. As an added bonus, they also occasionally accept custom quotes and designs for their tights! I want to ask them to print the entire Penelope chapter of James Joyce’s Ulysses on a pair, but my legs aren’t nearly long enough!
