The World’s Largest Book Fair Is Life Goals

Frankfurt Book Fair: The global city of ideas

Well, this is going to make you want to book a ticket to Germany this fall. The Frankfurt Book Fair is the best in the world. It’s the main event in the publishing world and it looks like a book lover’s paradise!

Sure, there are lots of local book fairs, comic conventions, and rare books meets to go around. But wouldn’t it be something to be at the center of it all? To rub elbows with the reps from international publishing houses and hear from the authors themselves before their bestseller hits the shelves?

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world’s largest trade fair for books and it is a wonderful tradition dating back 500 years!  Book collectors and avid readers should note that the last day of the fair is when exhibiting publishers are allowed to sell their books at retail prices.

Also, each year the Guest of Honor nation puts up an exciting pavilion and performance showcasing their country’s literature.

Check out last year’s Guest of Honor, Indonesia’s pavilion!

This year the Frankfurt Book Fair runs from the 19th to the 23rd of October.
